US EPA reinstates maximum observed constituent concentrations for hazardous waste
22-Feb-2012
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced it is taking direct final action to reinstate the maximum observed constituent concentrations for several listed hazardous wastes, which were inadvertently removed from regulations in 2000 as a result of a formatting error.
The rule will take effect on 23 April 2012 without further notice, unless the EPA receives any adverse comments prior to this date.
