Consortium management

AMEC provides a holistic supporting service including:

  • Full characterisation of uses
  • Registration support for low volume (<1000T/yr) or new substances
  • Preparation of registration dossiers, safety data sheets, and risk assessments

Dossier preparation & data management
AMEC's Product Stewardship group specializes in regulatory compliance and has extensive experience in the legal requirements for global registration schemes including EU, USA (e.g., California Proposition 65), Canada, and Japan. Our stewardship group can provide personnel with expertise in full toxicological assessment services for any chemical, including nanomaterials; laboratory study management; chemical/environmental modelling; and life cycle analysis. We are dedicated to serving our clients by minimizing costs liabilities while maximizing realized benefits.

Our approach is to understand the client’s risk assessment needs, then provide clear and strategic advice for effective evaluation and management of those needs for a cost-effect, scientifically sound evaluation.

    Our risk assessment staff comprise ecotoxicologists, aquatic and terrestrial biologists, and environmental scientists who have provided risk assessment services throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

    Testing strategies
    AMEC scientists have the experience to determine the required testing for each REACH tranche and the expertise to advise our clients under which circumstances tests that may be waived.
    Third party representative
    AMEC has experience in acting as a third party representative for EU distributors of multi-national corporations to provide pre-registration, CLP notifications, preparation and SIEF liaison for the 2013 and 2018 tranches.
    Training
    AMEC's product stewardship group provides training to industry and government entities for regulatory updates, risk assessment (human health and ecological), and health and safety requirements.
