13 EU Member States miss REACH sanctions deadline

Nearly half of the EU's Member States have failed to comply with a deadline in the REACH Regulation to notify the European Commission of the sanctions and penalties they intend to impose for infringements. In answer to a question put by Chemical Watch yesterday, the deadline, a spokesperson has confirmed that just 14 countries have fully notified the Commission.
