Leading ethanol producers officially launch consortium
19-Dec-2008
The Ethanol REACH consortium (EtOH-REACH) has obtained legal status, enabling interested parties to join formally. The organisation's bylaws are now available on the consortium's website.
Around 100 larger ethanol producers have already joined, a further 50 are expected to join, but the company managing the consortium notes that it is difficult to estimate how many smaller firms will sign-up. The number of companies pre-registering ethanol was 3,374.
Discounted membership fees will be offered to parties joining the consortium before 1 February 2009.
