Copper compound consortium to support over 50 substances
The Copper Compound Consortium (CCC) has been established with 24 founding members. The group has identified over 50 copper substances and intermediates to support through REACH registration by 30 November 2010. Other substances with later registration deadlines will follow.
Lead registrants for each compound will be identified from the members of the consortium. Other companies listed in the pre-Substance Information Exchange Fora (SIEF) as pre-registrants for copper compounds are encouraged to contact the consortium even if they do not wish to become active members. CCC says this will aid SIEF formation, allow contact to be established, and provide an information channel. The consortium is open to new members.
Regulatory Compliance Services has been appointed as secretariat to the consortium.
