Legal services

REACHLaw provides support for emerging consortia with our legal staff drafting the necessary documentation to get your consortium running. Our legal service is complemented by REACHLaw technical service provided in alliance with ChemRisk (www.chemrisk.com) with a joint offering of world class services in performing toxicological testing, assessing and compiling environmental effects and data packages, compiling and assessing human health and exposure data, evaluating hazard classification and labelling, exposure scenarios, risk and characterisation and preparing chemical safety reports.

Only representative

We act for our customers in the REACH registration process both in the capacity of only representative or third party representative depending on the customer's need. With our multidisciplinary team of experts we take our customers through the different phases of the registration process: pre-SIEF, SIEF and consortia, individual dossier preparation and post-registration support. REACHLaw is a safe choice for business critical substance registrations.

Pre-registration/Registration

Appointed by the SIEF, the lead registrant carries the responsibility for submitting the common parts of the registration dossier (joint dossier) in good time before the relevant registration deadline. the Cefic recommended deadline for the joint submission of high volume substances is 1st June 2010. Yet, currently only a fraction of pre-registered substances have a lead registrant. Some lead registrants can rely on the support of a consortium, industry association or a research institute. Others are almost alone in their activity. Depending on our customer's need, we can provide lead registrant support or act as lead registrant. As a first step for companies considering the option of taking the role of lead registrant we recommend our SIEF/consortium analysis.
