Company Background CEHTRA is a consultancy specialising in risk assessment for human health and environment in the field of chemicals with expertise in the fields of toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental and analytical chemistry, human and environmental exposure. Together with its partner, the international law firm, Denton Wilde Sapte we have the experience and resources to manage all aspects of consortia. We can design, monitor and follow-up on a full data package for the registration of substances under a host of EU and national regulations. We have years of experience in Plant Protection Product, Biocide and Existing Chemicals risk assessments and in the compilation of the corresponding regulatory dossiers for the registration of substances. Several of our scientists have participated in regulatory and industry workshops and were also involved in the REACH Implementation Procedures (RIPs). We are already involved in many REACH projects including consortium management, dossier audits and dossier preparation.

Consortium management
We povide full consortium management services including regulatory and technical expertise, legal, accountancy and administrative support, data and cost sharing etc and are already managing a number of consortia. We have a partnership with Denton Wilde Sapte, an international law firm specialising in REACH which will deal with all legal an IP aspects.
Dossier preparation & data management
Our complete service covers all aspects of dossier prepration, including data acquisition using sophisticated literature searches, RS and SS validation and inclusion in IUCLID 5 (we make sure that you get the most value for money out of your data by maximising Weight of Evidence approaches and QSARs), substance sameness, Exposure Scenarios, (generic and specific), risk characterisation, Chemical Safety Reports etc. We can prepare dossiers from A to Z or parts of dossiers providing you with a tailor-made service to meet your needs.
Legal services
Only representative
REACH Regulation has created new rules for European and non European chemicals companies. Each company must comply with REACH obligations if he doesn’t want to be forbidden to sell into the European market. For non community manufacturers (NCM), one solution is to appoint an Only Representative (OR). Therefore LTS-REACH-OR has been specially created to help NCMs throughout all the REACH process. The company's main shareholder is CEHTRA and we represent 15 NCMs established on four continents. We have a team experienced in the practical handling of substances and related information. With the support of CEHTRA specialists, LTS allows importers of a substance to be regarded as a downstream user under REACH and allows NCMs to keep their sensitive data confidential .
