12-May-2009
Two separate consortia have been established for the chemicals 1,4-benzenediamine (also known as PPD) and terephthaloyl dichloride (TCL). Teijin Aramid and Du Pont de Nemours (France) are founding members of each consortium, with Teijin taking on lead registrant role for PPD and Du Pont for TCL.
Data gap analyses have been completed for both consortia and studies are reported to be due to start shortly. Harlan Laboratories is providing administration for the consortia.
