QSAR Forum launched to share experience on use and research
Three organisations have combined forces to launch an online QSAR Forum to share opinions and experience on the use and research of quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) computational techniques. The Forum is supported by the International QSAR Foundation, REACHMonitor SLNE - a start-up toxicology company of Barcelona University, and the Laboratory of Mathematical Chemistry which developed the OECD QSAR toolbox.
There is considerable new interest in the use of QSAR models to generate data and information that help to avoid the need for animal testing in order to register chemicals under the REACH Regulation.
