Baytouch offers free use of SIEF communications tool
REACH software specialist Baytouch has launched an offer to companies that still have to make contact with other members of Substance Information Exchange Fora (SIEF). It says it will allow companies to use its REACHsuite SIEF communications IT tool to communicate with SIEF partners for free.
Malcolm Pollard, Baytouch chief executive officer said that the offer would run until the end of July 2010, after which, he noted, SIEFs would be very short of time anyway.
To take advantage of the offer, companies need to supply a correctly identified substance and a correctly formatted XML SIEF member download file from REACH-IT. Mr Pollard says SIEF communications can begin, using standard e-mail texts and forms, with a two day turn around for the first 100 files received.
