Cashew nutshell liquid producers form REACH consortium

Four major global suppliers and users of cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL) have launched the CNSL and CNSL Derivatives REACH Consortium. The four companies are Cardolite Europe, Palmer International, Sumitomo Bakelite Europe and UCP Chemicals.

Other eligible companies, including EU and non-EU suppliers and Only Representatives, can join as founding members until 7 August 2009.

The next meeting of the consortium is scheduled for early July and will cover a number of planning issues.
