ECHA consults on exposure scenario format revision
29-Jun-2009
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has posted a draft update of the exposure scenario format on information requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA) on its website (Table 2.2). The agency decided to revisit the format earlier this year (CW 15 April 2009).
The current draft was sent to ECHA’s Partner Expert Group (PEG) for consultation last Friday and comments can be made until 17 July 2009. After this date the agency will draft a refined version of the document.
While ECHA says the revision is being done to incorporate key learnings from industry, some have criticised the timing of the project (CW 26 June 2009).
