German parliament adopts nanotech resolution

Germany's national parliament, the Bundestag, yesterday adopted a resolution on nanotechnology that said the promotion of the technology is good for economic growth, according to a statement from the German Chemicals Industry Association (VCI). The resolution also called for more research into the safety of nanomaterials and for the registration of consumer products that contain nanomaterials.
