| Details | We are inviting proposals for an international conference on the various forms of governing specific substances and products that are now classified as Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR for short). This conference will draw together scholars from different backgrounds - history, sociology, political science, anthropology, law, etc. - and will be held from the 29 to the 31 March 2010 in Strasbourg, France. The conference will be organised in a workshop format with pre-circulated papers. Each paper will be introduced and discussed by a commentator. We plan to move quickly to an edited publication. |
