Canadian government proposes action against 14 more substances

The Canadian Ministries of Health and Environment have released draft screening assessment reports and risk management scopes for 14 substances assessed in Batch 8 of the country’s Chemicals Management Plan. It has also published a series of proposals to address risks to human health or the environment identified by the assessment, and significant new activity proposals to address future risks.
