German institute publishes studies on risk communication
01-Mar-2010
Germany’s Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) has published two studies on concepts of risk communication. The studies aim to address differences in describing substances as a risk or a hazard to different audiences. According to BfR the studies shed light on the reasoning patterns of key stakeholders and provide evidence on how the various stakeholders want to be included in the process of risk communication in the future.
