US EPA consults on method for assessing toxicity of PAH mixtures

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has posted a draft document on the Development of a Relative Potency Factor (RPF) Approach for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) Mixtures for external review. In addition it has posted interagency comments on the draft PAH report. The 60-day peer review and public comment period will be followed by a public meeting on 7 April, 2010.
