UN body publishes draft outline of report on impacts of nanotechnology on developing countries

As part of a resolution agreed at the Second International Conference on Chemicals Management last year (CW Briefing May 2009), a draft outline of a report focusing on nanotechnologies and manufactured nanomaterials addressing issues relevant to developing countries and countries with economies in transition has been issued. Comments can be made on the draft to the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) until 1 May 2010.
