Second phase of EU review for existing biocidal actives published

A European Commission Regulation setting out the second phase of a review programme of existing biocidal active substances has been published in the EU Official Journal. It lists those substances identified as 'existing' and describes the allocation of responsibilities for assessment by Member States. A major review of the EU 1998 biocidal prdoucts Directive is currently under way as reported in September.
