UK government advisory body issues guide to substitution

A guide to chemcials substitution has been published by the UK Chemicals Stakeholder Forum, a body which advises the government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on chemicals policy. The guide explains what is meant by the term substitution; why it happens; and how it is managed. It also gives examples of successful substitution involving different types of products.
