California science panel to discuss alternatives analysis

The Californian Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is convening a meeting of the Green Ribbon Science Panel (GRSP) – the body which provides advice to DTSC and the public regarding the California Green Chemistry Initiative –on 9 September to discuss alternatives analysis. The public meeting will be webcast.
DTSC is seeking input from the GRSP on the state-of-the-art in the field of alternatives analyses in general, and specifically related to the state’s draft regulations for safer alternatives.
Input on agenda items can be made prior to the event.
