Bisphenol A toxicity concerns prompts precautionary move; retailers shun polycarbonate products

Canada is set to become the first country in the world to list bisphenol A as a toxic substance and ban the use of polycarbonate baby bottles. Bisphenol A is used in the manufacture of polycarbonate.
