CEFIC guide to REACH pre-registration, consortia
25-Apr-2008
A detailed guide to the steps required for pre-registration of substances under the REACH regulation has been published by the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC). The hyperlinked guide takes companies through data uploadings, pre-substance information exchange fora (pre-SIEFs), SIEFs and data-sharing. It links to a list of competition law 'do's and don'ts' and provides a checklist of elements to include in agreements for joint registration of substances through consortia.
