EU chemicals body hands over to ECHA

The European Chemicals Bureau, the EU's main repository for information on risk assessment,classification and labelling, testing methodologies and related legal and software developments, has issued a statement marking both its 15 year anniversary and its formal handover to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) from 1 June. Much of the work in developing REACH guidance and software has bene undertaken until now under the auspices of the ECB but responsibility now lies with ECHA.
