First joint German/Chinese eco-label for recycled toner cartridges
19-Jun-2008
The German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) has announced that it has agreed for the first time joint eco-label criteria with the Chinese Environment Ministry's Environmental Certification Centre (CECEN). The eco-labels cover recycled toner cartridges for printers and photocopiers, including controls on emissions of hazardous substances during use. The move is expected to help boost market preference for more environmentally benign goods.
