| Details | The Symposium will feature: a plenary session setting the stage; a second plenary session focusing on qualitative dimensions of the economic impacts of nanotechnology; concurrent parallel breakout sessions exploring the qualitative dimensions of the economic impact on nanotechnology in these sectors: transportation, nanomedicine, electronics, energy, materials, and food/food packaging; and several other plenary sessions on nanotechnology, economics, and regulations, science and innovation policies applied to nanotechnology, and exploring the quantitative dimensions of the economic impact of nanotechnology. The last plenary will be followed by parallel breakout sessions of the same sectors noted above to discuss the availability, quality, sources, and limitations of data relevant to nanotechnology in each sector. |
