EU JRC releases three biocide emission scenarios
30-Jan-2012
The European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published three new emission scenario documents (ESDs) for biocidal products covering private and public health area disinfectants, veterinary hygiene and food and feed disinfectants (CW 6 January 2012).
The ESDs set up methods for the estimation of the emission of disinfectants in these areas. They may be used by Member States as a basis for assessing applications for authorisation of active substances and products, and also for industry when assessing requirements for a submission.
