ECHA reopens consultation on testing proposal for 2,5-furandione
03-Feb-2012
ECHA has reopened an animal testing consultation for the substance 2,5-furandione and its dihydro-, mono-C15-20-alkenyl derivatives, for information relating to two-generation reproductive toxicity.
A consultation on this substance was previously held concerning pre-natal developmental toxicity, due to an incorrect indication in the dossier.
Scientifically valid information and studies from third parties relating to two-generation reproductive toxicity should be submitted to the agency by 19 March 2012.
