REACH and CLP Troubleshooting Clinic

Attend this half-day Chemical Watch workshop

REACH & CLP Troubleshooting Clinic, London 19 October 2010 - Submit your questions

19 October 2010, (13.30-18.00 BST), London

We are running a second REACH & CLP Troubleshooting Clinic following the fantastic response to the event we held in June. It is an opportunity to raise questions and debate the latest challenges in the run-up to the 30 November/1 December REACH and CLP deadlines.

"I got more out of this event in 3 hours than most manage in 2 days. A very well run afternoon and I look forward to future events" - John Hislop, Exponent International

"I would like to congratulate you on an excellent workshop last Wednesday; the questions and detailed answers were very helpful and lifted my level of understanding significantly" - Maurice Clery, DCM Compliance

What contingency measures can you use if things are going wrong? What are others doing in response to specific issues? Our expert team is here to stimulate a debate involving the whole audience to find legal-technical remedies. Cross-check that you've fully understood the requirements, and improve your understanding of the implications of certain choices or outcomes.

Key questions addressed at the previous workshop

  • What if a Lead Registrant fails to register?
  • What if I was assuming a substance could be registered as an intermediate?
  • I am a downstream user - what should I do if I find at this late stage that a critical substance has not been registered?
  • What if my dossier keeps being rejected by REACH-IT?
  • What if my company's procedures simply won't allow us to process invoices within ECHA's timeframe?
  • What if my SIEF is being held up by too many actors with different priorities?
  • What if my SIEF cannot agree on classification of a substance?
  • I am a downstream user - what if I don't agree with the substance classification proposed by my supplier?
  • What if my supplier won't support my intended use?
  • What if we just won't be ready in time?
