Downstream Users, SIEFs and Consortia
The final broadcast from our series on REACH for Downstream Users. In this webinar, we look at how decisions made in REACH Substance Information Exchange Fora (SIEFs) and Consortia, mainly by manufacturers and importers, will have significant impact on Downstream Users. How can Downstream Users participate efficiently and effectively? L'Oreal Chemical Legal Affairs Manager Xavier Radisson will provide examples of successful cooperation between manufacturers and Downstream Users. A code of conduct developed by major companies including Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal and Unilever will be described by Jean-Philippe Montfort, of law firm Mayer Brown. In addition, Jo Lloyd, director of REACHReady, will detail the full impacts that decisions made in SIEFs and Consortia can have on Downstream Users and discuss the need for effective IT communication platforms.
