Join us at the 14th Biennial International Symposium on Worldwide Regulation of Food Packaging from June 11–14, 2019 in Baltimore, MD. Hosted by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Packaging Materials Committee (FDCPMC), this event is where experts from government, industry and scientific institutions around the world convene to discuss regulatory issues surrounding global marketing of food packaging materials, efforts to manage those issues and emerging priorities.

Regulatory authorities take this opportunity to compare their respective national and regional approaches to addressing emerging safety considerations for food packaging materials, considering the latest scientific developments and perspectives from industry presented by participating global companies and trade associations.

Program highlights include presentations on:

  • China’s regulatory system, with a focus on the development of new migration testing specifications and future priorities in food packaging safety and regulation.
