Manager Product Stewardship
(full time / permanent contract)
Role and Responsibilities
Leader of the Product Risk Assessment Committee
Support of production, R&D and marketing in the areas of product safety, sustainability and legal compliance of products
Monitoring the regulatory requirements for products and processes
Specification of compliance test conditions, documentation and assessment of their results
Preparation of declarations for customers and assessment of supplier confirmations
Compliance with REACH (import of substances and manufacture of articles)
Support company sites in USA and Asia with EU product regulations
Profile and Qualifications
University degree in chemistry or food chemistry (“Lebensmittelchemie”)
Doctorate in chemistry or related field is preferable
Experience with chemical regulatory requirements is preferable
Experience with REACH and / or food contact materials is preferable
Self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic personality, with a strategic and entrepreneurial spirit
Fluent in German and English
Good skills with standard software
