This position is to strengthen Teknos Group’s Environmental Team in its mission to support Teknos’ strategy of fast and profitable growth. In this position, you will be a member of the Research & Development team on group level and you will report to the Group Environmental Manager. Preferred locations for this position are our facilities in Finland (Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki) and Denmark (Vamdrup).

Our Regulatory Affairs IT Specialist Chemicals has the global responsibility over our IT tools used in this field. These tools help us to keep data updated and provide reliable information to our Research & Development, Operations and Sales departments as well as to our customers.

We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs IT Specialist – Chemicals to support the further development.

The most important daily tasks and responsibilities

In this role, you will be supporting the company in reaching its Sustainability targets and work closely with people from different departments such as Sales, Procurement and Operations whilst having strong interfaces with our people in Research and Development as well as with ICT. From the technical perspective, you are the solution expert for Sphera IA, Sphera Raptor, Sphera Data Migrator, SDS sending tool, label tool and are responsible for topic related solutions in PDM/PLM and ERP systems. Your main tasks will be to analyze, manage and coordinate the following:

  • supporting the Sphera and ERP (IFS) users
  • continuously working on updates and refining our IT tools
  • coordinating regulatory data in IT systems and solutions on group level
  • actively finding and recommending areas for optimization
  • participating in development projects as system expert
  • making quick reports and running SQL searches in IFS and PDM/PLM systems
  • organizing trainings and creating work instructions.

The cooperation internally is run in a matrix.

Desired skills and qualifications

From you, we expect a deep understanding of chemicals regulation and their impact on e.g. labelling of chemical products, stock allowance, health and safety, restrictions in marketing, inventories, notifications and authorizations. Also, you bring knowledge about databases (SQL Server, Oracle), XML and SQL to the table and have a good understanding of system interfaces and integrations. You work independently and meticulously whilst not losing the overview on the system landscape.

You enjoy working with people from different countries and you contribute to a smooth and cooperative collaboration across all departments. To ensure good communication, your level of English is high – any other languages are an asset.
