Regulatory Officer - work with consumer products & cannabinoids

A uniquely positioned company that has capitalised on a growing trend is currently looking to expand. Involved in the production of e liquids which is currently a booming industry, they are looking to further bolster their scientific expertise. The opportunity is seeking for and will be suitable for somebody with experience with chemical legislation (REACH, CLP) or the Tobacco Product Directive. Individuals with a strong Toxicology academic background (Phd) will be considered. If you are looking for an independent regulatory opportunity with minimal supervision but ample direction, you should apply. As a Regulatory Compliance officer you will focus on stewardship activities centred around chemical legislation (REACH, CLP) and the TPD (Tobacco Product Directive) and support the Chief Scientific Officer on technical and scientific issues.

With a culture focused on expert knowledge for customers and a strong emphasis on customer service management, you will be encouraged to product reliable test results by working closely on compliance issues for the testing teams.

As a Regulatory chemist you will Classify products, author SDSs and review/approval labels under CLP and TPD. You will also lead formulation regulatory reviews and product safety assessment. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Educated to degree level within a scientific discipline. Post doc within Ecotox/Tox will be considered if sufficient regulatory experience is not evident.

Proven regulatory experience within with REACH and CLP (Chemical legislation).

Experience with the TPD will be considered a bonus.
