Lead Toxicologist

Offering a great work life balance, challenging projects, exciting products and an established brand, this is a great opportunity for a strong toxicologist looking to step into a lead position on tox evalutions for consumer products. The company is an established organization with global expertise that you can capitalize on. The position is to provide principal expertise on toxicology evaluations to assess human health risks from use of consumer products. Such a position will involve ingredient review and working with R&D teams to consultant on end – to end product innovation.

You will monitor in vivo, in vitro and/or human clinical studies, drive engagement of innovation teams to develop traditional and non traditional products as well as be the scientific subject matter expert. The position will serve as regulatory toxicologist encouraging regulatory compliance

The management aspect of this position will be to coach other team members

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. Toxicology (or related field) with significant relevant experience or Ph.D. Toxicology with good relevant experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Risk Assessment approaches and refinement strategies
  • Experience of working with international trade associations in relevant sectors
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change
