A.I.S.E. is in Brussels with a staff of 17 multicultural and dynamic professionals. We are recruiting:
Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director (M/F)
She/He will report directly to the Director General and will provide input to the overall European strategy in line with vision and mission of the Association. The person will drive and implement all activities related to scientific and regulatory matters of the sector with the objective of safeguarding and advancing the interests of the members. She/ he is supported by a team of four issue managers.
You will be responsible for driving, coordinating and managing the activities related to the following key EU Regulations on chemicals safety such as REACH, Microplastics, CLP/ GHS, Biocides, and Detergents Regulation. With the support from industry experts, you will also manage A.I.S.E.’s product stewardship initiatives such as on Liquid Laundry Detergent Capsules and Indoor Air Quality.
This includes collecting and evaluating scientific and regulatory information, leading projects and project teams, developing guidance and industry positions, seeking consensus. In addition to communicating with and providing advice to our members, he/she will also interact with external parties to represent A.I.S.E., such as the European Institutions, ECHA, UN, and other industry associations and our network of National Associations.
