Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is a global Sustainability consulting firm and we are seeking an experienced Safety Chemist to join our Product Stewardship team in Germany.
This is a great opportunity to join a consultancy with a strong track record of advising clients in the chemical sector, with a focus on agrochemicals, biocides and REACH, to help them to navigate the complexities of the EU regulatory environment.
We have a very strong scientific team consisted of experts in the field of exposure and risk assessment across all disciplines. The team have significantly contributed to ERM’s product services and regulatory affairs (PSRA) team’s growth through excellent client advisory and project delivery activities. Our colleagues in the technical teams work closely with the regulatory experts and together we have built strong client relationships. We are experts in developing technical strategies to support clients with a particular focus on dossier development, submission and defence for active substances and products.

This role is highly client focused, so you will be an individual who enjoys delivering solution for regulatory related challenges. You will be a self-starter who can work autonomously and communicate effectively in English and German. This role will require some travel and flexibilities (2-3 days per week at client site).
You will be educated to a Master Degree or a PhD in Chemistry or other relevant discipline. With extensive knowledge of relevant international and European legislations e.g. REACH, CLP/GHS, TRGS.
