This position provides technical and regulatory pre-sales support as part of Sales organization for Verisk 3E chemical, regulatory and compliance solutions, with a primary focus on Verisk 3E’s ERC and ERD solution for SAP EHS / Product compliance, including the Authoring, Consulting and integration side of it. 

The position is based in Europe, preferably at one of our office locations in Germany (Siegen or Frankfurt), working from home would be considered depending on location.  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating and presenting as part of Sales team the ERC and ERD solution while communicating highly targeted EHS and chemical/product regulatory compliance benefits and effectively prove capabilities as part of on-site and online system presentations.
  • Customer requirement gathering for purposes of determining preferred solution set and identifying project scope, including technical requirements related to IT systems integration or other Verisk 3E products.
  • Collaborating within Sales and with Product Management and Marketing for proposal development and product documentation. 

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years EH&S business experience recommended, including familiarity with SAP EHS / Product Compliance Authoring and Consulting experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biology/Environmental Science or a BS degree in Management Information Systems/Computer Science with demonstrated EHS expertise required.
  • Experience with business information systems preferred, with understanding of web or cloud based Enterprise Software, ERP, systems integration, data migration, and technical problem solving.
  • Excellent presentation preparation, organization and delivery skills.  Ability to present in person or via web based conferencing tools to small or large audiences which may include users, management, purchasing and executive audiences.
  • German and English language skills are required, additional languages are a plus
  • Strong written communication and technical writing skills required.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA region; position requires up to 10 days of travel per month.
  • Working knowledge of services available from Verisk 3E Company preferred.
  • Project/Program management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent computer and business software skills required, including Microsoft Office and CRM (e.g. Saleforce.com, Sales Logix).
  • Excellent time management and self-management skills.
  • Exceptional inter-organizational and customer relationship skills
