REACH Regulatory Support and Data Access Manager
Competitive salary and benefits
Flexible working – part-time or full time
An opportunity to join the Regulatory Affairs team at an international trade association. Working closely with senior colleagues you will facilitate global regulatory compliance by providing access to data and expertise developed for EU REACH to be “exported” to other global regulatory schemes. This activity enables the team to have a truly global impact and be acknowledged as the expert body for regulatory compliance and data access issues relating to their members’ substances and products.
The main duties of this job will include ownership and administration of the EU REACH consortia cost sharing mechanisms, provision of access to the EU data packages for stakeholders in other jurisdictions, management of data sharing contracts, ownership and maintenance of critical consortium records, organisation and execution of consortium meetings and general communication with stakeholders. It is hoped you could also apply knowledge gained in EU regulations to provide input to future consortium / registration activities in other global jurisdictions. This could include developing an appropriate level of understanding of relevant emerging global regulatory systems and developing suitable new cost sharing mechanisms.
Suitable candidates are likely to have experience or knowledge of the running of REACH consortia and a good understanding of consortia cost sharing mechanisms and processes to provide access to data packages for registrations. Exact responsibilities can be tailored to the experience of the incoming individual but knowledge of REACH is essential and experience in industry, consultancy or consortia management would be welcomed.
This role is a fixed term contract; flexible / part-time working options are available.
